Danske Reward

Before opening a personal current account, ensure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• If you are new to Danske Bank you need to be a resident in Northern Ireland
• If you are an existing customer looking to open a current account, you need to be a resident in United Kingdom

As part of your application, you’ll have to provide us with some personal information such as who you are, where you live and your employment status. We’ll also ask for some financial information such as your income, outgoings and any debts you might have.

Proof of Identity and Address

We’ll try to confirm your identity and address electronically, but if we can’t we’ll ask you for proof of your identity and current permanent address. You can find a full list of acceptable documents here.

Proof of Affordability

For some current account applications, we may ask for documentation to verify your income. We will let you know what we require when your application has been assessed. This can include copies of recent payslips or if self-employed, your most recent Tax Calculation / SA302 along with a copy of your most recent Tax Year Overview.
